Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests will my child be required to take?
All Dogwood Virtual School (DVS) students are required to take the following tests:
- Course lesson assessments
- Course unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- Diagnostic and formative assessments measuring mastery of grade-level standards
Will my child have to participate in state testing?
Yes. As a public school, DVS students are required to participate in all state-mandated testing. These assessments are an important part of enrollment and help measure student progress and school performance.
